SURROGACY

 
This procedure is being done on couples whose wife has no uterus, uterus surgically removed, or huge fibroids in the uterus or when they have some developmental anomaly in the uterus - like double uterus / half uterus.

It means growing the fetus of one couple in the womb of another woman whose uterus is (?) rented for the whole period of gestation . Now the growing fetus has two sets of parents called biological & genetic. BIOLOGICAL parent is the one who has rented the uterus for the purpose of growing a baby of not her own. GENETIC parents are the ones, whose egg ( wife) and sperms (husband) are utilized for making that particular Test Tube Baby.

The woman indicated will give her eggs as explained already under IVF & her husband will give his sperms for making the baby. Ethics are formed in each country according to their culture and living circumstances for such a procedure, involving the psychological aspects and affordability of either couples.
